Seeing how this is possibly the only area I haven't posted in.....thought I'd complete the gambit.

The Columbia River Knife & Tool(CRKT) M-16 has my vote as possibly the best all around edge holding ability of any knife I've ever carried everyday.  Sharpening with a Lansky system in the 30* setting, it'll last all week at work....and I cut a lot of stuff!

Good to hear that SDB.  I've never owned any CRK products but I know of a few guys who really like them.

Your comments add to that list of satisfied customers.

I haven't a need for anything from them, but they do have a few things I'd like to have.

I have a CRKT and like it a lot.  It stays in my pocket an I abuse it a lot.  I think that it has been the best knife I have had

I've always used Bucks and Gerbers. Splurged on a Benchmade once. My girlfriends mom worked for Buck for 20 yrs. and retired last year. I used to get knives for a 65% discount . Can't go wrong there. I have a few favorites I use. This one Buck Cross Lock  (30 degree edge and Lansky, sdb777) I used on 3 deer and an elk last year. Also helped a friend with an elk too and it still was sharp as hell. I sharpend it anyway. I see that Kershaws are being made in the USA now. Bought a couple of them at Wal Mart the other day ! I'm a knife junkie.I don't want to know how many I have....
