Figured I'd post my new patch knife here. It's one I recently got from Billy Watson. A real go-getter. Really like the neck sheath...handier for me.

Go to http://www.watsonknives.com/knives.html and you can see some of his knives. Mine is in pic #213. It was the Carbon Steel Hunter...had him modify that style to a 3 1/2 inch blade instead of the 5 inch the pic shows. Also told him I wanted a neck sheath instead of a belt sheath. My next order is in the same pic...the French Long Knife with silver wire inlay. Been eyeing that one for a long time and finally told him to go ahead and make me one. BTW...you better be a patient man when ordering. He has a long waiting list.

Quig, that is one good looking blade. That's almost too pretty to wear out in the field. What are the scales made of? I am working on fitting mesquite wood scales on a Damascus blade and hope to finish in a few days. I'll post a pic once it's finished.

That's one sharp knife. Pardon the pun. It's a whole world away from the old straight razor I used to carry for the job. RD
