I have a Ruger No. 1 in 7x57 calibre. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem finding a scope with enough eye relief using the standard Ruger scope mounts. I need about 6-8 inches of eye relief but I'm unable to find a suitable scope. My other option is to fit a weaver scope mount but I don't know if such a beast exists.
Does anyone else have any knowledge that will help me solve this particular problem?

Davidlw...check wiyh Ruger online. They make offset rings that would likely work for you. Good shooting.

| Thanks for the suggestion. I will see if I can source some offset in in the UK (no doubt at 3-4 times the price as the US).

| I had a RSI in 7x57 and put a leupold scout scope on it mounted as far forward as the rings would allow.

| If you can find one of the Older Pentax Light Seeker they work fairly well with the Ruger Ones. Every Ruger One i have owned i cut the stock and shorten the LOP so it would work with the Ruger Rings.

| I managed to source one extended scope ring from MidwayUK and have another on order (six weeks and waiting so far). I've fitted a Leupold 4x33 and things are starting to look up. It's a shame the Ruger No.1 has such an inflexible scope mounting system.

| The length of pull is always to long on the Number one for me. Anther scope that works well is the 3x9 Redfield , the older low profile widefields. You can buy these on Ebay pretty cheap.
