I checked the zero on my 257 AI today and was also forming some brass. I was using IMR 4350 and the Nosler 100 gr BT for the forming load and they were shooting into the .3's and 4's. I hunt with the Nosler 100 gr Part. and  IMR 4831 and the rifle was grouping the Part. into 1/2 inch to 3/4. I have never been able to get the Part. to group like the BT but close. Here is the good part.  I haven't fired this rifle in 6 years and the scope was still zero from the last time i hunted with it and the ammo was loaded 6 years back also. Good thing sometime just don't change with time.:thumbs:

I have killed nine buck and three does with this rifle with that many shots . I have never missed a deer with this rifle or have had to track over 20 yards after the shot, all but two were down in their tracks . All taken with the 100 gr Nosler Part.

That is one nice looking rifle.  It looks to good to 'not shoot' for 6 years.   But I know how that goes.  So many rifles, so little time.

I hope it takes down number 13 for ya this year.

I love the problem of having to many rifles. I hope to put another on the ground with the 257 Ack. The rifle is a hell of a deer killer and i love the Roberts case for the 25 cal bullet. It has very little recoil and shoots as flat as a laser beam.
