If you want to check it out, look on Hornadys site...plenty of hype there...

300/338RCM cartridges are going to be fun.  Thinking that they are using a duplex loading to get those velocities though.  Be fun to try and roll some to find out exactly how close you can get to those speeds.

Haven't seen what the parent cartridge was, but I can already see that I'll be necking it down to .172" and up to .458"

The Edge is already established as a very accurate long range cartridge.  It is a 300RUM necked up to 338 and is highy accurate. Overbore

I have had both the 300 Win and the 300 WSM. Both have their merits, but I prefer the 300 Winchester for the reloading aspect of being able to seat the bullets out as long as the mag box will take. 190 and 200 grainers are my favorite for the 300 Win,they launch at 2950 fps without max loading the case.

2950 is, in my opinon, the optimum accuracy velocity for hunting.  Wyatts Outdoors, now Brownells sells extended length magazines for Remmy and Win to give that cartridge "an Edge".  Cordially, Overbore

I'm building an Edge and chose it because I can shoot it more than a Lapua for less, common availability of components, and its ever-growing popularity that may ensure its longevity.

In reading an earlier post of yours I was made nostalgic with your mention of CH and Pacific...  Remember Unertl and KollmorgenRanger Arms and Winslow Rifles?  How about Richland Arms, Herter's, Browning Safaris, Mannlicher, and Mausers (piles of them!).  Sometimes it seems like only yesterday; other times so long ago.  But here is where we is now...

Jeez that fuzzy walrus dancing is so distracting!
