I need some tried and true loads for the 30 Herrett, I have just purchased one although I shot one in the 70's. I have lost all on my loading data for that caliber and am wondering if any one can help me.

Thanks

Pete

X-pilot, I have some data in a reloading book for TC contender pistols. What powder and bullets do you intend to use? RD

Thanks Rick, Nice ride I had a FX shovel head earlier on in life. That load will give me something to start on, do they say anything about 3031 or 4350?

Thanks again,

Pete

nope not for 150 grain H4227 is the slowest listed, 135gr SP has 4198 and RL7 thats for the sierra bullet,

IMR section list 150gr SP bullet at 27gr 4895 1735fps compressed load. 3031 25.2gr 1680fps compressed, 4198 21.3gr 1760fps

I own two Harleys, the 05 Ultra in my Avatar and a 02 Fatboy, Both are for sale haha

speer #10 shows 25 gr imr 3031 for 1808 fps in a 14 inch barrell. i suggest sticking to a faster powder in the 10 inch.
