For small rifle primer pockets, I've used an RCBS case mouth deburring tool in the past

I have the capacity to do either, chamfer or swage, but I haven't got a supplier for 5.56 yet, so I havent had the need to do it. I have a lot of 243 cases that I will eventually swage.

| Have an RCBS swager, works but is pretty slow. After I got an RCBS case prep center, I use the primer pocket uniformer head to cut away the crimp. Fast and easy. I can see no practical difference between cases that have the crimp cut away, and those that have it swaged out.

| I just finished processing a bunch (16 pounds) of Lake City 05 cases. I used a primer pocket uniformer on them all and am able to seat primers without difficulty.

| I have a Dillon Super Swage 600. I love it. Easy to use and quick if you have alot of Military brass.

I have the Dilon Primer Pocket Swager and some where around I have the RCBS primer pocket swaging die set. I do have the chamfering tools, but that takes a lot of work and isn't consistant.

| I use a small cordless drill with an egg shaped dremel tool bit in it. It works fast and efficient. Lots faster than the hand tools.
