I have a custom 7x57 that eats Varget with 140 grain Sierra bullets,,,I want to load some 162 grain rounds and wonder if I am the only guy that likes a 7mm Mauser.,..Anyone have a pet load with 162 grain Hornady`s?

i don't have any experience w/ the 7x57 mauser - i think taz does, and i'm sure charley has a ton of it (he seems to load for everything else!)... but, i have found h-380 to be a great fit in my 8x57 w/ 200 grain sierras. i would bet h-380 would get you pointed in the right direction w/ your mauser, too.

Nope, I've never loaded for the 7x57. I have a small ring action lying around, and might get around to building one sometime, but it isn't on the front burner.
