I just subscribed to http://www.loaddata.com lots of info ,my favorite reloading manual is Noslers as I've found their most accurate load data has worked with my reloads perfectly.  There are too many powders to choose from.My favorite powder is IMR 4831 for my Sako Finnsport 300wm I've killed mule deer at over 600 yards using IMR 4831,180gr Sierra GameKing,Rem 9 1/2 mag primer, used  180gr gamekings on a bull bison big mistake they never penetrated into the internal cavity ,should've used the 300gr Nosler Partitions I had loaded, learned a lesson not to read outdoor life before a booked hunt cause the info doesn't apply to all rifles.

Thanks for the link. I will check it out. By the way, those are some nice shots you took. The longest I ever took a Whitetail Deer at was 374yds. It was with a 7mm Rem Mag with Winchester Supreme Ballistic Silvertips (160gr). That was well before I started reloading...

Here are the loads from notes from when I had the Win Mag.

220 Grain

H4831SC                   Start 64.3gr         Max 70.5gr

IMR 4831                            63.5                    70.0

RX25                                   69.0                    75.0

RX22                                   62.0                    70.0

This is a big slamming bullet that is going very fast.

Jerry

Jerry,

The IMR 4831 worked great with 69gr of powder I used. Now I just need to buy a Chronograph to see what they are coming out at. Once I obtain the speed of the bullet, do you know how I calculate the drop over distance. For example, I have the rifle sighted in at 200yds, but what will the bullet do at 300yds?
