I use  both  also.
The  reason  is  that  I  won a  $300.00 Redding  Die Certificate  at a  Friends  of  NRA  Banquet  a  while  back. Up until  that  time  it was RCBS &  Lee....So  I  got  my  Micrometer 45-70 Dies  and  a  few  more  that  were needed... 45-120, and so on.

What I have found out is that Redding dies will give the most consistent results of dies that I have used.  I have used Lee, RCBS and Hornady.  Overbore is correct about runout.

When I load for precision or hunting loads, I will check runout both on the cases and loaded rounds.  I use a NECO runout tool.  I am sure there are other tools that do a good job of measuring runout.  Check at sinclairintl.com for precision reloading tools and equipment.  They can get expensive but worth it.  It comes down to what do you want and what you are willing to live with.
