I finally got to reloading some ammo and it was great. I loaded 40.5 grains of H380 with 60 grain Nosler partitions and I had two bullets touching and one about a quarter of an inch away. I think I found my load. I am having a hard time loading up pictures though so that I can share.

LawDogg, I load 220 Swift and like you found the "Load" for my rifle. I to had groups of 2-3 in 3/8 inch and 1 out 1/2-3/4 inches. I found that a Lee "Factory Crimp Die" Brought the odd rounds back until all were in side 3/8 inch.
Also while working loads for my 7mm rem mag with <175g bullets I found hat a factory crimp die tightened up the groups and helped me tune the load.

the 22-250 is a great one to load for... it is one of those chamberings where more loads than don't shoot well. it makes me look like a genius on the bench, anyway.
your load seems pretty stiff to me, but i don't have any load data handy. how are pockets and case life?

Love both my 22-250's . The old Rem 7oo vssf in the choat stock bedded and with the lightweight timney still shoots some impressive groups.
The Savage 112 with the 22-250 1x9 28" .250 neck short lead does better , but there are several thousand rounds difference in the count. The Savage shot a 13 out of 18 shot 212 yard group of .570 c to c last year. The other 5 rounds were just a little out of the group.
This is the first group I ever shot with this rifle

My home range is 212 yards and can go almost 300 when the creek is down and I want to shoot from against the fence line.

Isn't it great when you load your own and it shoots so good--a wonderful feeling. Congratulations and good luck in the future.

Dakotasin, this the first time I used these cases, the primer pockets were fine. I did not see any thing wrong with my cases. I wouldn't go any higher though.

I just purchased two new canisters of H-380. It showed the load for the 22-250 as 41 grains. I wonder if this is the max?

usually unless they list a start charge it is the max tho some guns may max out before and some after ( tho that is rare )ummm all my bottles of hodgdon at the bottom of the limited data state "max load reduce 10% to start" and they also give the hodgdon site for more data
