This new arms treaty that Obama is starting to push has a provision that will make reloading an "illicit" activity. And because it will be a violation of a treaty, the administration will not need congressional approval for making the rules about it and deciding on the punishments for transgressors. (Putting that Timney trigger into your Remington 700 will also make you an "illicit arms manufacturer.")

1984 is running a little late, but it will get here soon enough.

When Obama talked about "change" he meant exactly what he said.

Forget the new 4 wheeler or boat this year, stock up on what might not be available at a later date. as the economy continues to fall, those other more available toys will still be around at even better prices.      disclaimer...this message does not either directly or indirectly support or attempt to advise any legal or other than legal.........................................................................................and so on

If the hobby reloader has to obtain a license it is just another step towards control and eventual disarmament(ie; it goes against the constitution that politicians only use when it is in their interest not ours ....[sigh]

For someone who kept braying about 'helping Mr. and Mrs. Middle America', The Kenyan has no qualms about both destroying the entire industry of The Shooting Sports, putting thousands out of work, and making millions into instant felons.

umm i think u mite see part of the master plan ...sadly most wont realize it until it is in hindsight and too late ,allow me to quote a comment on one of the many "legal readings" i'm doing ,the article really doesnt matter but the comment is umm a gem
Lyle Says:

Hmm, so the “unauthorized manufacture and exporting of firearms” isn’t already illegal? Firearms aren’t already marked? A serial number isn’t a “mark”? Strange.

I guess they could just outlaw crime, you know, so no one would be able to commit a crime without breaking the law. Yeah, I’m sure that would work."

now define what obama's version of middle america mite be isnt so easy but i read it as anyone making about 1-2 mil a year and having the best friends in politics that money and votes can buy ......

How many people out there are not members of the NRA? How many people have not written or emailed their elected officials?

I am having to work my farm, planting season is growing near, so I don't always catch everything. As that this Friday will start 5 plus days of decent weather mostly in the 80s , I will be on my tractor for all of the day light hours, and carrying a rifle for the G'Hogs that I till up.

We must speak with one voice, so call the NRA, call your elected officials, do what you can.

Jerry

You know we could hide all of our weapons and reloading supplies, then all at the same time turn ourselves in.

Housing for 5 million gun criminals would rather unique, maybe they would have to reopen some of the moth balled millitary bases to house all of us felons.

I suppose we could hide 'em.

But I think the original intent of the 2A was that if it was time to HIDE 'em it was time to USE 'em.

Our Founding Fathers foresaw just such a thing as is happening to us now. It's a tribute to our country and our people that it took over 200 years to happen. But the time may be finally here.

I'm tired of hearing about "hiding guns and ammo."

I'm not hiding anything.

Let's grow some, people.

The method to take down a government is to over whelm it's resources, at least 25 fold.

If that doesn't work then we dig up our guns and march on Washington.

Two things, I swore an oath to protect this country........ and the second thing is why are we allowing this to happen. The pen maybe mighty than the sword, but I can still shoot at ground hog on the move at 100 yards and not break a sweat.

If we must use the force of arms, then we must be united.

I agree.... I ain't hiding nothing... come and get em.... I love this country and swore an oath in the U.S.A.F. to that effect....but my government scares the h..l out of me...the thought of all out revolt is revolting to say the least but we cannot, mustnot allow tyrants to rule us.....Ben, George, John, Francis and all the rest knew that when they wrote that thing we call the constitution.... but i guess thats not what they said and it doesn't apply to these times......not....united we stand....divded we fall....pray for unity....

If we become a country unable to defend ourselves, then we are ripe for a take over.

Agreed..... Just look at the others who lost thier rights. Aussies, canadians and now england...no hunting...I don't hunt anymore but i will defend your right to do so....just like i keep telling the younger guys at my work, i may not agree with you but you do have the right to your opinion... that's number 1....number 2 keeps it that way....they keep whittling away at us with taxes and new laws....here in oklahoma just a little southwest of the city on the turnpike to lawton there is a billboard with the quote from ronnie reagan,"Government takes from the needy and gives to the greedy."....rather appropriate i think..the other side is a quote from a roman senator, i forget the name, "Formerly we suffered from criminals and crimes..Today we suffer from laws..".. well said...

I think a Brit Colonel said "Formerly we suffered from criminals and crimes..Today we suffer from laws.."

I hunt, I need to have varmint control, and I am not very good with a bow and arrow. So maybe a flame thrower or a catapult to control the pests. Should I just make a spear and go deer hunting?

that's what i thought for a long time now....  if this is going to be a revolt we would be better off not to cause such a stink out in the open.....   we will get farther maybe by quietly standing by our constitutional rights...........    i could be wrong though.........

"Treaty" be damned - high time for the Mexicans to grow a pair and deal with their own problems!

A quote from the Old West.....  "A man saddles his own horse, and kills his own snakes!"

Time for the USA to STOP being responsible for every stinking third world pest hole in the world.  Lock down the southern border - NOTHING goes across without being double-checked!  That would stop any flow of drugs, money and guns.  It is doable.  If it is happening, it is because our Goobermint is complicit in the trafficking, and allowing it.  I'm betting some are profiting from it.

I won't bury my guns.  When they come to take them, they get the bullets first.  I've made my 'line in the sand'.  No close family to use to leverage me into surrender.  I stand for my God-given and Constitutionally guarenteed RIGHTS.

I have been writing, calling and E-mailing the Congress-critters, and using the ballotbox.  Not seeing much improvement.  Coming up on time to open the bullet boxes.
