Any opinion on:
RBCS 10-10 magnetic powder scale (was formerly an Ohaus brand I think** and from what I understand it still is an Ohaus just re-branded now days).
Redding primer pocket uniforming tool (large rifle or small rifle).
Redding case prep kit (the one with the 3 brushes and pocket cleaners).
Redding flash-hole deburring tool (universal or small)
Hornaday Lock-N-Load OAL case length gage for bolt action (formerly Stoney Point brand).
Hornaday Lock-N-Load bullet comparator.
If anyone uses these tools tell me what you think about them. I have read the reviews extensively, but would like to hear what you guys think too. I already ordered the scale, it is the one thing on this list I hear people say will last a life time etc.

I use the uniforming tool, the flash hole deburring tool and the primer pocket brushes on every piece of brass I process. I can't put a figure on "gains" in consistency from doing this, but they are just a few more steps toward making good handloads. All these tools are quick and simple to use.

The only thing that really bothers me about the Hornaday bullet comparator is that it appears they do not make pistol caliber inserts... Originally RD told me about this device and it looks as if even though it doesn't work on pistol it seems like a must have for rifle reloading--or some kind of bullet comparator.

I have the Hornady lock and load overall case guage, and I think its terrific. I use it on all my rifles, and when I change bullet brands or types it makes it real easy to find the proper distance to the lands.
I use the lock and load bullet comparater to measure the bullet seating depth to the bullet ogive. I think its a lot more accurate than measuring to the tip of the bullet which can differ because of tip damage in shipping etc.
Also I use the comparater body with the Hornady Headspace guages to set the amount of "bump" or setback of the cartridge case shoulder, and I never have feeding problems
I think these tools are a valuable aid to reloading, depending on how precise you want your ammunition to be. I like to get the best I can out of my rifles and ammo so Ill usually go the extra mile.

I use all of the tools mentioned, but part in different brand names. They are all good and help you get a little closer to excellent.

My 10-10 powder scale was manufactured by Ohaus and marketed by Lyman lots of years ago. I bought it used for $15 in 1977, and it is still being used along with a digital cheapie.. I've had more than a few scales over the years, but the 10-10 is still my favorite..

Based on my experience, all make a very good investment. You will end up using all of the features if you reload much at all.

Well I got the primer pocket uniforming tool, flash hole deburring tool, and case prep kit in the mail yesterday.
The bulk Remington brass I bought all look the same after I use the primer pocket uniforming tool on them, it looks kind of like a half moon inside on the pocket. Is this normal from what you guys have had experiences with uniforming primer pockets?
