This may sound like a 'cop-out', but I don't load for the '06.  I will in the near future, and I'll also be following this advice.

Go to the Berger Bullet website(look under the FAQ section), or send an email to this address: mailto:bergerltd@aol.com with the cartridge you are requesting data on.

I have been see that a reloading manual will be available for quite some time....just want to know when that is going to be?

Scott (should hit like a hammer) B

You have to contact Walt Berger as there is no reloading info on berger bullets.loaddata had nothing and google had nothing.I purchase known brands hornaday, sierra, nosler.I prefer nosler blems from http://www.bivwak.com  or http://www.shootersproshop.com  or http://www.nosler.com probably cheaper and the noslers perform in my Sako 06 & 300wm.  165gr  or 180gr nosler accubond ,imr 4831,fed lr mag primer. Best 06 group 165gr nosler solid base, imr 4831,cci primer 5 shots in less than 7/16 inch is good enough for hunting.

Mr Mc Krakin- I found a very good load for the 185gr Berger :cases - LC match, IMR 4064-45.3gr, Federal 210 primers.. I extrapolated this load from a Hodgdon manual, if memory serves..

I realize GI match cases may be hard to find nowdays, but I have subsituted Federal GM cases, also with good results.

Like Jerry says, "The normal precautions are to be taken"... I think that's close.

This was used in a high numbered Springfield '03, rebarreled with a medium heavy, six groove Shaw bbl.

I don't have a chronograph, but estimate appx 2600fps

IMR 4831 has proven to me that 180 grain bullets and a REM 700 BDL were made for each other...I am now testing 165 and 150 grain bullets but with slightly faster burning IMR powders.
