I prefer the Nosler, then Speer. My search stopped at Nosler.

Answers to this poll is based upon field experience only. No opinions please.

Seems bonded is better. Mechanical is not.

Describe all types of shooting angles, especially front quartering shots. Through shoulders to vitals. Broad side shots any bullet will do. I see that bone density will effect the bullets performance.

I use Barnes Solids, generally the TSX bullets, sometimes other solids from Barnes.

Do you want this post to go away, is that what your second post is indicating.

Just ask and I will delete it.

Give it some time before you become rightously indignant. 4 hours and 22 minutes isn't going to get much traffic on a weekday.

Your brusque requirments (field experience only, no opinions) doesn't exactly make your poll user friendly.

Bullet construction doesn't matter much with where and what I hunt, cast bullets work fine for 90% of my hunting, I don't spend money that I don't get a benefit from...guess you don't want that "opinion" either...

Well based on actual field experience it varies alot.

Most of the time I'm perfectly happy with the hornady interloc bullets.

Some rifles shoot better with speers.

Some rifles I use bonded in, and some get cast. All the handguns get cast.

So there you have it 50 years of field experience in a nut shell. Your poll didn't really have enough options for me to accurately respond in it.

I guess some guys dig too deep to give a clear answer. Guess that's how Hell got it's gap.

Some rifles shoot better with speers. How well does it HAVE to shoot?

Your poll didn't really have enough options for me to accurately respond in it.

HOW MANY CHOICES DO YOU NEED? Did you notice that Nosler is at the top of the list?

You're not the same chucksniper that started the same sort of bs thing on another forum about a month ago are you?

What if I was? :sofa:  So there you have it 50 years of field experience in a nut shell... wow it took you that long to give this kind of info? How many critters have you dressed out to see how these bullets worked out? Or you weren't paying attention. How about a little more detailed info master handloader?

You ain't Bill O'Reilly, and Handloader's Bench isn't like other boards. We EXPECT posters to be ladies and gentlemen, if you can't do that go someplace else and stirr up trouble. It isn't tolerated here.

Well I thought I might add to this but on second thought, this is a cast board and I don't see where premium bullet's have a thing to do with cast.

Ha! Your right. Saw some familuar names and forgot where I was. Guess I need a GPS for the internet.

The best bullet preformance comes from a bullet that can stand the velocity of the cartridge it's used in. I have always used Hornady, Speer and a limited amount of Sierra.

If the bullet is properly chosen for the cartridge your using, there are cup and core bullet's to do most anything with. The fact that there a those that choose to drive improper bullet's at speeds they were never designed to work at doesn't make them bad bullet's, Just bad choices by the user's.

Guess? You are questioning experience that you asked for in the first place? Let your clutch out in a higher gear, laddie, your engine will last longer. You ask for a book, and answer in one or two words? Better check your brakes (and ego) on the steps.

If this is anything like the last couple of times he's run this question (once here and once on another board) unless you tell him either Nosler or Sierra, he's going to go off on a tangent with you......

Ah... sorry THAT statement is NOT true... Some bullets, LADDIE, will perform at ANY

velocity they are listed at. Experience?  Yeah.. then you woke up.
