I killed a small buck this evening with little one inch spikes . The deer had a good size body and will be good eating. I killed it on my Va farm , when it came out to feed under the apple tree in the field behind the house. Today was the last chance for me to bow hunt until after rifle season goes out. I love hunting with a bow. I will post a picture later. My Mathew Outback is deadly with the 85 gr Thunderhead. Deer only run about twenty yards.

bea175, congratulations!!! I haven't done a whole lot of bow hunting yet. I've passed on does and little bucks so far. I've been doing some videoing for one of my buddies, and have a couple nice ones on video and some good footage of does up close and some bucks fighting and some bucks chasing does. Slug season doesn't start here for two more weeks. I hope to get in some good bowhunting before then. Congratulations on the kill.
