Bea,
Nice deer! I never did get one with my bow last year. I was doing a lot of horn hunting out of state though and had my chances several times. Really enjoy the bow season each year, just wish I had more time.
VA has some nice deer in it and absolutely beautiful country. Been through there many times, just never stopped to hunt! I worked quite a bit in the George Washington National Forest near Goshen, Virginia for a few summers in college. What a fun job! Anywhoo deer were scarce there during the summer but down in the local shops there were a few monsters hanging around that were taken by the owners.
Sounds like you had a pretty good season!
Hope you repeat it this year!

I just love bowhunting and use the season to sit back and relax in the tree stand and enjoy the fall colors and fill the freezer with some early backstrap. I also got a coyote with my bow last season but didn't get a photo. Bummer!!!!
