Didn't see any whitetails worth shooting, but did see this little piggy, who's going to the BBQ grill, instead of home. He was at 125 yards, quartering slightly towards me. 200 grain Hornady Innerlock put his lights out, even though the core and jacket seperated on the trip thru his skull, fat, and gristle plate.

Those porkers taste better than store bought pork? I would think they do on account of the muscle gets a better work out hence better flavor?
I agree about getting a hunting gun bloodied. Gives it history and character.

Charley..good shootin bro..Looks like you whacked him pretty hard, that eyeball is hangin out a bit.He is just right for the pit..
Wolfkill,I think they do.Most of these hogs have to work for a livin, even on ranches where there is feeders and they can raid corn, which most do,I have noticed the meat itself is nowheres near as fat as a domestic porker.I would homestly rather eat a young feral as a domestic porker if it is pit cooked bbq.But the domestics have nice meaty ribs..
Charley, that gristle plate even a 100 -150 pound porker is unreal aint it..

WildBill I heard they're not easy.
Looks like the porker kept a good eye out for Charley.
