Bill Bill, I'd be suspicious of photoshop on that one. The deer shot is flashed, and there are no shadows on the trees behind, and moreover it looks like the trees were shot in daylight, no need for flash. And FWIW, I think that soon after a hit, there might not be the splatters on the hide.
Good (b&a) shot anyhow.

Yep, a few people on other sites feel it's photoshopped. So I guess we just take it for what it looks like knowing it's likely a fake.

Wildbill, I have such a picture of my son, when he was about 7 years old, sitting atop of the badest looking bull you would ever want to meet eyeball to eyeball. Only the bucking bull was a "stuffed animal" however, the picture looked more real than the deer in the post, shot with an arrow.
I personally believe that this picture was a put together by someone with the skills to do such a thing. A hit with an arrow will NOT give you that kind of blood splater the intance the arrow hits vitals on the deer. I have never seen that much blood on a deer shot with an arrow from the entry side. I call Doctored Picture!

| If i had to guess the arrow and the blood was added after the photo was taken.
