Took this doe this morning at 65 yards, with a 90+ year old rifle. Still works.
Funny, Phil Sharpe admired the .25 Remington and recommended it as a decent whitetail cartridge. Frank Barnes said it was all but useless.
Entry at rear of shoulder, exit behind the opposite shoulder. Exit wound was about the size of a quarter. Ran about 30 yards, could have followed the blood trail in the dark. Love these old guns!
