Doc,

Thanks for asking, but I think you knew all this before.

I am just an ordinary guy.

That has an unusual job (for the U.S.).

I like hunting, fishing, shoot rifles and bows, I like NE cartridges and double rifles. I also like 250 grain bullets (or larger) at 2400fps or more (if they are tough bullets). I like hunting the dangerous game more than the plains game, however, I like plains game too, they are very good med. rare.

I am not a fan of the 375, but own one. Also, not a fan of the 30 '06, but own 2 (go figure).

Have I stepped on enough toes yet ?

If not, hang around and I will get to yours. LOL.

I have been hunting in Tanzania for 10 years and in Zambia and South Africa before that.

I used to guide bow hunters for Elk in Colorado.

I have done OK, for a miss directed So. Cal. boy.

You can read more about me (like you are dying to know) at my web site at the 'about us' icon at http://www.go-on-safari.com

Leaving for Tanzania on June 21st and when I come back, I will no longer be a So. Cal. guy. Peg (my girlfriend) and I bought a place in Florida. It won't be ready for a while yet. They have to build it. On a Golf Course with a small lake 30 ft. behind my house. It will get stocked with some Fla. Bass and I will practice catch and release with them.

Who's bored ? OK, all you guys put down your hands.

Thanks for listening and thanks to Mr. Timberghozt for inviting me.

Best,
Phil
