I don't recall seeing any coyote partial mounts.  Just the ones of the entire animal.   For a full mount I'd like to see one where the 'yote is sitting up, like a dog begging for food, front paws up in the air and tongue hanging out.    For a partial mount are you thinking of like a deer head mount?   Might work ok.

I am having a coyote mounted at this time, but it won't be ready for another couple of months. I am having it done in full body mount walking on all fours so it can be place against the wall on the floor. I quess you could have a halve or shoulder mount done , like a deer or hog or have it made into a rug with just the head mounted. I have a bear that was made into a rug with the head mounted and will take a photo of it and post it later. The taxidermist that is mounting my coyote did this turkey for me a couple of years ago.

I too don't recall ever seeing a coyote half-mount.

Wish I had pictures of some I've seen at shows.

I myself always liked the ones where it represented the hunt itself - animal posed in the direction it was looking when it was harvested and the like.

However, there's some that have had squirrels and rabbits in their mouths and I've seen one in Cabela's where it looks like the coyote is in a pounce position on a covey of quail.  All very cool!
