Today was the first day of the Va Late Muzzle-loader and very warm for this time of year. I  decided to take my FoxPro with me to my stand. By 0830 i hadn't seen a deer . I heard some yotes way off yipping. I decided it was time to quit deer hunting and break out the FoxPro. I started with the Male Challenge and they answered and then i switched to the Pack or Coyote Gathering  and then in about  5 min i heard one bark about 200 yards away. I then switched to the Coyote Pup in distress and the yote came in at a run. She was standing about 35 yards from me and looking at the call when i dropped her with my TC Omega Muzzle-loader. Load was the Hornady SST 250 gr and 100 gr's of American Pioneer Powder. My first with a muzzle-loader.  Two setups this year and one yote and two grey foxes. Good start. Another Plus ,my buddy got a eight pointer a couple of hundred yards from where i killed the yote at 1600 this evening. Great day in the woods.
