I do a lot of waterfowling.  Just kind of curious if their are any others here who like to knock down feathers on water or feild?  We hunt a lot of ducks out on the big lake and geese in the fields here and in North Dakota.

i do a lot of goose hunting. duck hunting doesn't get me worked up much anymore, but put a 3.5" 12 gauge in my hand and send me into the cut corn in late fall or spring, and i'm gonna have a great time!

I havent been duck or goose hunting in a long time but absolutely love it. I grew up in the U.P. myself and come late October you couldnt get me to go to school the first half of the day. I had an old Stevens 10GA single shot i would use for geese and we used to slay them on the end of the basin in Autrain, then once the flights quit comming out we would head back to Munising and puddle jump for ducks all the way home.

Big time duck hunter here.....not so much goose; I have all the paraphenalia (goose calls, decoys, ect), just don't have the access, and haven't been too successful on state lands.

If they would let me use a high powered rifle, I'd be all over this hunting.  Of course, I'd be fair and only do head shots on 'em at distances of at least 100yards.
