For anyone interested, the State wildlife commission will consider a citizen's petition to ban all prairie dog hunting in Colorado at it's May first meeting.  If you have a concern about this you might consider an email to the commissioners.

Us in Colorado appreciate the help.

Thanks, Doyle.

Doyle, I just sent Mr. Dennis Buechler a polite email about my opposition to the petitioners about banning prairie dog hunting. Several years ago two people that I worked with approached me recruiting help on prairie dog rescue. I was younger and a little short-fused then, and when I was done with my opinion, they voiced theirs--that I was a gun-loving killer. We worked around each other until I retired a few years later, never speaking another word to each other. I figured---no great loss.

Thanks for the help.  I sent an email to each commission member earlier.  This was brought to my attention by a friend who is moving here in the near future and shares the same interests.  I wasn't aware of it until he brought it up and was hoping others who might be unaware would see it here.  Again, thanks.
