I read all the requests on MyHuntingRoom.com pertaining to your BADF hunts coming up. I am a huge fan of the BADF disabled hunters program and wish more organizations like Buckmasters would do something similar. When Iraq and Afghanistan slow down, I hope to someday volunteer myself on one of these great hunts for some very well-deserving disable hunters.
I am writing to ask that you tell all the guides and volunteers that attend the event "thank you" from the servicemen and women in Iraq that we appreciate their volunteer efforts and sacrifices to ensure that event is a success. Please also say "good luck" to all the participants from my Soldiers over here in Iraq and to "keep their chins up, have a great time, and be patient because the buck/elk of a lifetime is out there and that their memories will last a lifetime."
BADF and its Disabled Services is one of the many reasons why I continue to do what I do in the Army. It is for great Amercian organizations and volunteers such as this that we have the best country in the world. That is definitely worth defending and protecting the citizens who don't take our freedoms for granted is what drives me to stay in the military.
Again, "thank you" to all of you that received this email and please pass it along to the volunteers and employees of yoru organizations. I respect and greatly appreciate you taking the time to ensure these deserving individuals are afforded the opportunity to participate in these hunts and events.
I hope to someday personally shake your hands and meet you...and hopefully as a volunteer guide on one of these exceptional hunts!
