7th Annual Rack and Beard Deer Hunt for the Physically Challenged
The hunt will be held on Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st. Rack & Beard Hunting club is located in Monroe County, Alabama on 800 acres. This will be our 7th year of hosting a disabled hunt and this event has become the focus of our hunting club each year.
We will host 8 hunters this year and they will be chosen in a random drawing. The deadline for submitting names will be Friday, October 19th. The hunt will begin on Friday afternoon and will conclude on Saturday night. All meals will be provided during the weekend. The hunt is free but, unfortunately, our club does not have a camp house. Hunters will need to arrange lodging at one of the local motels in town. We will do our best to acquire the lowset rate for the hunters at a local hotel. All hunters will also be responsible for acquiring a valid AL. hunting license. They may do so thru http://www.outdooralabama.com/hunting/license.cf Once the hunters have been chosen, more info. will be available.

Throughout the archery and gun seasons I will have some hunt availably on acreage in west and wets central Alabama. These hunts will be done on sort of an on-call where I will set dates based on deer movement and weather and draw hunters needing an opportunity. Some does and mature bucks will be hunted. Some hunts will only be ½ day hunts and other 1-1/2 day hunt. Please answer the questions below and email to oncallhunts@yahoo.com. Participation in these hunts does not affect your participation capability on other hunts. I will try and call you from 1-3 weeks in advance to see if you can attend if you are drawn. A non resident license is $120.00.
