My curitive for the swine flu, eat all of the comfort foods that you can, aspirin to control fever and aches, Jack Daniels if you have a cough and plenty of DVDs on reloading, hunting, fishing and action films.

Maybe hold off on the JD for now but due stay well hydrated.
Don't wait or the respiratory symptoms to get out of control before going to an urgent care, especially with the young ones

They are now say that us folks over 50, if we get it and have to be in the hospital there is a good chance that we may not walk out of the hospital. The squad is a few minutes away, or 8/10 of a mile.
I don't want to take any chances, so yes I will dial 911 if I get worse.

the fever from mine lasted almost two weeks the intense head ache thankfully only for several days ( and i rarely get headaches)the hardest part of mine was indeed fluid intake ... it seemed i had no thirst and everything i did drink seemed repulsive the very worst part of mine was for some strange reason it wouldnt let me sleep longer than 2-3 hours ie; the deep healing sleep was rarely obtained ,hang in there amigo

Visited my doctor a few days ago for a prescription refill checkup. During the visit she asked me if I was going to get a flu shot for the regular annual variety. Told her no, that every time I had in the past, I spent 2-3 days in bed. During the visit I told her that I contracted the "Hong Kong" flu back in 1957 while in the Navy. She gave me some good news - since I had that nasty crap back then, my chances of getting swine flu are practically nil..

3006,
That is like I had Cowpox when I was child, so I never need a smallpox vacination. Except when in line at the medical facilities in the Army, they still gave me a smallpox vacination, and later on several boosters.

My symptoms are easing up and I have to see my doctor tomorrow afternoon. So I think I am getting better.
Thanks to all for your concern, it is appreciated.
