I ordered two Chair Tent Blinds on line from Bass Pro for 119.99 each. Total 239.98. The next day i got Email from them stating they where out of stock and would be back ordered. I went back on line two days later and they had them listed for 79.88 each on clearance. I called customers service and ask them how in the hell they could be marked down and on clearance when you just back ordered them two days before. She couldn't give me a answer. She said she was going to credit my card for the difference and that they didn't have them in stock and that they where on back-order . They where going to rip me off 80.22. I received the blinds a couple of day ago . Makes me wonder how many people get ripped by these companies when they don't go back and check their orders. Now they have them marked up to 99.88.

It pays to check your reciept evreywhere!!!!!The other day shopping the total rang up to roughly$100 more than I had guestimated.I wrote the check then headed directly to the customer service desk---They doubled the cost of the mistake to my good I gave it to them for once----that ought to buy some loading supplies. That can't be done online but if you see a big mistake when in any store don't complain BEFORE it's paid for--wait till it's settled up and grin all the way to customer service

I live near the Bass Pro here in Atlanta and they are notorious for placing sale items in their adverts and not having them in stock, or only having a couple. It's happens EVERY time they have a sale and is always on the items with the biggest price reduction. They must think that hunters are idiots and not smart enough to catch on. If you have a Cabelas, Academy or Sportsmans Wharehouse available, give your money to them instead of Bass Pro.

The only reason i ordered the chair blinds from Bass Pro is because they are the only ones that have this item . I would have ordered them from Cabela if they would have had them for sale.

| I had some shadey deals with Bass pro but for a long time it was all I had local except for wally world. Now there is a Gander Mountain store close by. The selection of stuff is okay but all I have to do is bring in an add for a name brand product at bass pro and they beat the price. What's funny is that I got all my powder and some bullets from Bass Pro then about 6-7 months ago they sold out of all their reloading supplies. Then when Gander MT opened up and they sell reloading supplies Bass Pro restocked and now carries more reloading supplies than they ever did. And to think I went down to bass pro and dropped over $500 on powder cause I thought I wasn't going to get it localy anymore.

Our BPS here said when they opened they werent gonna carry powder and primers , was the one reason I was happy they were coming here ..
I have one local guy who usually has the powder I need , but most of the time I order from Powder Valley and get as much as I can for one hazmat fee ..

We have an outfit here called Big 5 Sports. They often run ads in the local catbox liner for pretty decent sales on milsurp rifles (like SKS, Mosin Nagant, etc). But when you get there, it's almost always "we just sold the last one".
Decided to put them to the test one Sunday, so I showed up there at 10:00am (right when they open). Walked right over to the gun counter to check out an SKS they had on sale. Guess what. "We just sold the last one." How could that be? I was the first one in the door. Bait and Switch.
This kind of crap happens all the time. I bought Soft Air CO2 pistol the other day from Sports Authority for backyard fun and ... "we just sold the last one. All I have is the one in the display case". I doubt they ever had more than just that one in the display case. The sales guy had to rummage around in the back room for 10 minutes to find the package, paperwork and associated tools that went with the pistol.
I tend not to go back to places that play that game. Says something about their ethics (or the lack thereof) that doesn't set right with me.
