For those who like to vacuum seal ammunition or components, Reynolds has a very handy, CHEAP vacuum sealer on the market. It uses a resealable bag that you can vacuum out, like any other vacuum system, but these bags can be opened, resealed, and vacuumed out again. I suppose you could even use them for food, like the manufacturer suggests.

Thats pretty handy man.I used my wifes to vacuum seal a bunch of antelope jerky.Thats the ticket for storing meat.

I use GI Ammo cans, they are reusable.
For meat and the like, I do use vacuum bags and my dehydrator, but plan on buying another freezer. I raise my own food on my little farm, and the feer that eat my corn become corn fed steaks.
