It really works allowing one to screen all email & Kaspersky will notify you if you sign on to a bad site with a sound that mimics a screaming dying hog scared me,my tech & a friend of ours I was helping. My tech is a big game hunter elk , mule deer & bear in CO. I  hunt Columbian Blacktail(mule deer subspecies)mule deer & elk don't care for bear & I'm not a head hunter came out of univ of az with wildlife mgt degree learned can't eat antlers & my home isn't big enough for massive antlers, leave the big racks to those that want them me I'd rather have a barren doe or cow elk .He said it's a very good security program when he loaded it on his wifes PC it picked up 7 trojan viruses that symantec didn't block it quaranteed them! I've had it for a year w/o any viruses adversely effecting my sony vaio or my wifes.

I like Kaspersky because it runs flawlessly, upgrades several times a day and DOESN'T slow down my computer(s) like Norton and others used to.

I am running Ubuntu on a Dell Laptop and it runs flawlessly. It runs very well without all of the problems with MicroSoft. Open Office is Free, most applications are free.

When my new system arrives, I will be back running MS Windows, because a lot of my hardware needs won't run on Ubuntu, like my Magic Jack phone line or my CNC design software. So on the Windows system, I run Norton and Lavasoft.

Ubuntu is far superior to MS Windows in my opinion, but you have to use what is the accepted standard in many cases, which is Windows.

I used Trend Micro after Norton screwed me over with Tech support, but it uses a lot of ram as well.

Then I remembered a PC Tech telling me Kaspersky is the best in the world.

I got it about 4 months ago and love it, uses much less ram so my PC runs much faster.
