I need to get a new bore sighter and was thinking about getting a lazer one. I need this for my hand guns, rifles, Contenders, maybe my shotgun.
I need some advise on which one to get.
Thanks,
Jerry

I have a BSA mechanical one ands it does the job. It's probably easier to use instead of the laser cuz you don't have to set up a target to sight it, you can do it in your house if you want. It doesn't do shotguns tho. Last edited on Thu Mar 5th, 2009 08:13 PM by IN.MY.SIGHTS

I have a mechanical optic bore sighter at the moment, but I also have a 100 yard range in my back yard. I think for me the laser is the better method, particularly the ones that can be chambered.
This afternoon is was about 60 outside so after so farm work, I sat at smoking bench and punched some paper.

http://www.nrastore.com/nra/Product.aspx?productid=SS%2022621-3 These are the (bullet) type found at NRA's store. They dont seem to be to expensive. Ive been looking at them, but haven't tried em yet. NRA usually supplies perty good stuff I think.

I have seen those on the NRA Store website before, they seem to be good, but I would like to find somebody who has used them.
Thanks,
Jerry

I've heard those are pretty good cuz they are completly lined up with the bore, but I haven't used them so I'm not sure how good they really are. Also how does the machanical one work? Is it pretty accurate, I had a scope that I used mine on but the scope broke at the range so I don't really know how good it works.
