Howdy and welcome Steve. Was just in SD near Rapid City to pick our son up after an accident. Wonderful people over there-they just simply awed me with their kindness and helpfulness. They will always have a warm spot in my heart. Hope you like the folks here. Some are a bit ugly, some smell badly, and some are both but over all not a bad crowd--LOL, wc

Steve, Welcome to HB. I shot some in SD a couple of times. Two PD shoots and my first Antelope hunt. Great state with friendly people. I actually met a teenager there who counted my change back to me the way I was taught 45 years ago. Find that very often in today's world. RD

Well here in the upper mid west I guess its still alot easier to smile and say thank you and maybe by helping someone else out theres still hope that the favor will be returned.

I'm glad I found a site where there are similar values.

Grew up stalking fox in my whites by first spotting with a spotting scope. Advanced to calling coyotes and then started a war on PD's which lasted till 96 when they shut down our hunting grounds, after having a taste for long range accuracy started studying balistics, case voulume versus bore dia, and found out the deeper I dove into accuracy the less I knew about 4yrs ago I got invovled with a mail in competitive shooting game and again received a education as to conditions and how much (really amazing stuff) a 5mph breeze will affect things, as the boulder rolled down the hill I am now a competitive br shooter and still don't know sh*& I guess thats what keeps me coming back, I now run a national mail in "Postal" which is controlled only by a Mans honor and score about 1400 targets a year, still can't seem to get enough...I just plain love talking guns, accuracy, competition, which should be geared for self improvement, and or any combonation of so again guys thanks for the welcome.
