Just signed up and wanted to say hello ....... been reloading for a while now and get deeper and deeper into it every day ..... I reload 5.56/.223 , 45acp , 40s&w , 9mm the majority of it being the 5.56 cuzz my AR is just so darn fun to shoot and not to mention its 30 rounds per clip wich makes it VERY easy to blow thru ammo. I'm located in Lancaster PA if there is anyone else in PA make sure to say hey back !!!

Welcome,
I my self have never sot a real AR just some phony Colt M-16 oh well Sounds like you like to shoot do you single stage it or do you have a progressive loader? Any who welcome and enjoy.

Hey Black thanx for the welcome..... I am a single stager .... I really like it this way mainly cuzz im so anal  but Im actually pretty fast when I get all the brass prepped I can roll from there Forgot to mention that I also load for my 12 ga mainly loads for skeet and sporting clays ..... Hey there 40twist and thanks for the info on the short stroke problems in ARs. It's a new rifle and is very tight as well. This very well might be the prob. Welcome th the HB. I live here in PA north of ya near Friedensburg.

Well actually its from my first handgun... It was a 40 cal.... I was cleaning it one evening and was looking down the barrel at the rifling and the "handle" 40twist just popped into my mind .. "40" in reference to the caliber and "twist" referencing the rifling..... yeh I know im goofy

well, ... uh, i figured it had to do with how many times the rifling went around.
