Hello I'm new here, my name is Steve and I come from Australia. I am 25 years old and handload for all my rifles, including a .17 mach IV, .17 rem, .204, .222, .22-250, .270, .340 wby mag, .416 Rigby and .577 Nitro express 3"and a soon to be aquired .17 Ackley hornet.
This looks like a cool site with lots of info, so I'm sure to learn a lot here

Thanks for the welcome slingshot. I dont wanna know how bad my .577 may hurt when its done (couple weeks), but if you just have to have it and its going VERY cheap.......

I was thinking along the lines of two recoil reducers AND a decelerator recoil pad, just to make the light little ruger weigh a little more. I'm aiming for about 12-13 pounds which should tame the recoil abit. And in most cases I'll be shooting 650's rather than the full power nitro loads.
