Hi all,

Just checking in (1st posting) from Prince of Wales, Alaska.   I have handloaded since the mid 1970s (22-250, 223, 220 Swift, 243, 250-3000, 7mm Rem Mag, and 30-06), but always have something to learn, especially from this sites experience base of riflemen.    I now have abit more time to "work with" the newer available powders and bullets.   Most of my hunting loads have always been equipped with Nosler Partitions, but have enjoyed many Sierra and Hornady "pet" varmint loads over the years in my varmint rifles.  I worked with Animal Damage Control (now Wildlife Services) for 14 years, therefore, enjoyed working daily with a great number of good "coyote men" using both traps and rifles.   I have been fortunate enough to hunt with my 2 sons most of their young and now early adult lives.  We hve never had much, but made hunting one of our priorites every year.   We have hunted brown bear, grizzlies, dall sheep, moose, caribou, Sitka blacktail, mule and whitetail deer, and antelope together.   Always trying to chase coyotes wherever we are!  We will soon be retiring from Alaska and returning back to our home state of WY, since I finally survived to age 55.   Anyway, I will enjoy the opportunity to scan your forum, soak in your knowledge, and ask questions periodically for advice.   Again, thanks for the forum!   Coyotehuntr2

Tx WildBill and Timberghozt for the hearty welcome,

Nice to know there are many that love to work their rifles and prepare for another day of tweaking things on the range.  Ole Abe Lincoln once said, "Folks that have no vices have very few virtues."     Thanks again, Coyotehuntr2
