Well I was runing through some sites on SAKO varmiters and keyed up this discussion group.I have loaded ,going back to the mid 50's and still have some of the equipment from that time frame.I have been loading Pistol, and recently decided to start loading for my 243 SAKO Forester, and shoot some of the local club shoots.I load pistol on a Hornady Lock N Load progressive, and I believe I can load accurate rifle rounds on it,with proper brass prep.I do have a Pacific Super C press set up if that doesn't work out.

Welcome.  Good to see more persons w/Sakoes.  I have a Sako in 270.  Made the mistake of getting rid of a 308 and 222 both Sakoes.   You'll enjoy it here.

Thanks guys.I visit my SAKO so seldome, that I need to retrain myself, every time.I found instructions on the net to strip the bolt for cleaning.Pretty easy to disassemble it,but no instructions (trick), how to re-assemble it,so I'm off to a Rifle builder Up the street, for assistance on that and a couple other small dealies I have.Always something.Wish I had bought another SAKO in 22-250 heavy barrel, when I bought the 243, 50 long years ago.
