And why did I just send him $40.00?

Good to be here gents! I hope to garner various and sundry tidbits of reloading accumen as well as the remote possibility of offering a gem or two myself.

He is the Handloaders Bench owner.,,and that name is mine which I removed from your post. That money goes to the account that pays for this place every month.
Thanks for the donation but I have to remove my legal name from public sight. The last thing I need right now is an identity theft issue so I hope you understand why I edited your post.

=)
I worked on ships as a merchant seaman for 20 years.
A seafarer.
The "Redwood curtain" is no joke. We use terms like "You can't get there from here. You have to go to San Francisco first." and "Next day delivery really means three days."
Now you have to tell me what "Dash 6" means.

Timberghozt

That was just my lame attempt at breaking the ice. I know it takes a lot of effort to run a site and I am more than happy to contribute hard assets as well as verbal tripe.

I apologize for posting your name. Didn't mean to put any anatomical parts in the proverbial wringer. :homer:

A Sea Farer---Ohhh, now I get it-light just slightly glimmers on-lol. AC, the -6 is a mistake that supposed to be 06 as in 30-06. It got shuffled in the mixup-lol. I collect a few '06s and the handle just stuck naturally. These folks that shoot inferior rounds are good folks---just beguiled, mislead, and misinformed---LOL, WC

HAH! I knew it!

The Ought 6 was my first rifle and has always been my go-to gun for deer and bear. I love the round. Tons of history. Tons of loading data.

We all have our dalliances but you never forget your first love.

LOL, still my first love even though I have a couple of (ugh) 308s snuggled behind the seat in a carrier. The '06 stays where I can get my paws on it. It is a Mauser converted to '06 and is dead on with just iron sights(what little I can still see of them-lol), wc
