I'm selling my 788 in order to fund a new project.  I hate to do it but it's best this way.  I have some dies & brass if someone is interested in reloading.  The rifle has been professionally duracoated, including the scope.  It has a Burris Signature Select 1.5-6x40 scope on it and it's outstanding.

I have photos for anyone who would like to see them.  The price is $675 plus shipping to your FFL.

Thanks

It is a great round.  If I didn't have a deal working on a K95 Stutzen, I'd be keeping it.  I'll end up getting another 6mm another day...maybe a single shot?  What a great walking predator/stalking rifle caliber that would be.

No, It has been sold.  I did end up with another one though.  It's as nice as the first one but is completely stock, no duracoat.  I have not even fired it yet.  Are you looking for a LH 788 in 6MM?

Exactly. Had one back in the '70's out in Cali that I'd had extensively accurized and it was a tack driver.

Have been looking for one the last few years. I'm all set up for 6MM and so would like to stick with that and must be LH'd.

Looked at the 788 last night and will rate the blueing and metal at 95%.  No rust spots and the bore is good.

The wood is in really good shape, however it will have a couple of marrs and depressions but I could see no gouges that pierced the grain.

I'll rate it conservatively overall at 90+%.
