I surly don't have that kind of money. I will be taking a friend to look at his stuff on Saturday may 9th
over a hundred different dies, pistol and rifle
lots of powder
primers for lg and sm pistol
primers for sml, lg and mag rifles
assorted brass
assorted bullets (factory and his own pours)
assorted presses (no automatics)
tools
scales
Who Knows what else???
all stored in his house not, in garage

My neighbor owned a gun shop that closed years and years ago but has now hit hard times. He really doesn't want to sell equipment to someone who is going to plaster all over eBay (and here i am plastering??)

i am learning to reload myself and i need a mentor with no luck so i figured if someone out there in the world who may live fairly close wants to pick up some stuff for themselves, maybe i could find someone who can help guide me along?

other than that, i am picking up dies, primers, bullets, powder and some spent brass for 9mm

i am in Anniston, Alabama if you have an interest let me know a way to get in touch.
hope this is the right way to go about it
Noah

Noah,

I would like to have a list of what is in this pile of stuff. But if your going to EVil Bay it tomorrow, that is not enough time for me to make decisions and I generally don not shop on eVil Bay.

clarifying, i am not putting his stuff on ebay, just this site trying to find someone close enough to learn from is all. i will take pictures and do a small inventory. he sounds like he wants to get rid of it all in one piece. Well mostly, other than the few things i am after. i have most of what i need for my 308 and 223. looking to start 9mm and maybe 45 if i can cough up the dough.
more than likely i will be lucky to score the 9 dies and components due to lack of funds

he said he would walk away from it all for a $1000

he has that much alone invested in just powder at dealer cost......he needs money pretty bad

i will be going to his home tonight to see all of what he has.

As anyone who has read this post  could guess, the neighbor has decided to "hold on" to his equipment. cant say i blame him.

After people learn what is happening in the Firearms industry, they tend to hang on to their stuff, sometimes for more money, sometimes because they are afraid they won't be able to get it ever again.

this is a good point.... i decided long ago that with the skill and knowlege to reload and the presses and stuff you need you can have ammo whether you can get factory ammo or not.....  if i lived closer to you i'd share what i know about reloading and bullet casting with you......

Everybody is always welcome at my place. machine shop, welding equipment, smithy, casting shop, the foundry building will probably go into service soon.

We just need some notice, a day or two. You need to bring your own pillow.

I question the validity of this posting, the IP addresses aren't valid. This appears to be IP spoofing and maybe some other less than honorable intent.

If this is a valid member, I apologize, but some thing is wrong with your provider.
