This appears to be a good place to find guns and supplies:
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/index.php
It was recommended to me by some one I trust.
But with all things, check them out and see if they are up to what they say they are. In Short, Buyer Beware.

"The company's size, volume of business and number of transactions may have a bearing on the number of complaints received by the BBB. The complaints filed against a company may not be as important as the type of complaints, and how the company has handled them. Buds treated me very unfairly- shipped me a broken scope, refused to return my calls, then when I posted negative feedback about the scope, they had the balls to 1) remove my feedback and 2) ban my account. So don't believe their 'feedback' ratings-- you'll never see anything but glowing responses because they police the feedback section, basically taking all usefulness away from it. Any after 5 calls and several emails, never a single return call or email. Buds can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. Never again, sticking local to McBrides gunshop in Austin."
what it seems i find online is that bud actually sold the store and is doing only internet sales and over the counter to LEO's .... find a ton of stuff ..too much to sort thru lolz

I don't take BBB resolutions as proof of the company performance, but I do look at the volume of complaints.
But I was trying to pass on something that looked good to me, from some one I thought I could trust their opinion.

I have had a good transaction with Bud's Gun Shop and have recommended them to my friends. I could not be happier with my purchase and continue to shop there.
I am not affiliated with them nor do I know anyone who works with or for them. I just don't like to see people jump on the flame bandwagon without personal experience. We all know someone who knows someone...
I thought you might like to hear from someone who has actually purchased from them and had a good transaction.

that's whats important, the bad experiences. 99/100 times they do the right thing and everybody is happy. i always want to know what they did to satify the unhappy customer on occasion. regardless of who screwed up the order. thats what makes great customer service and repeat clients.

I have also dealt with Buds and had good experiences. The thing to remember is that it takes 17 positive references and only 3 negative to cause an opinion to be formed.

I had a bad experience with Bud's, but it didn't end badly. I was trying to buy a used Hk45 Compact (not an HK USP compact) they had listed. They did not have the gun in hand as it had gone out for photography, but I took it anyway. They sold me the wrong gun and even my confirmation showed the wrong item #. I gave them a heads-up about the miscue and didn't take it when a USP .45 Compact showed up (looked new).
Initially they were going to charge me a restocking fee, but after I complained and showed all of my email traffic specifically stating I wanted a Hk45 Compact, they refunded everything, even the shipping and the return was on their dime.
I am now waiting on an M&P Pro 9mm to show up...
Regards,
Skyviking

They are so high volume that yes it is difficult to get exactly what you want from them sometimes and that restocking fee is rediculous

My (2/100ths of a dollar) experience = one transaction & one good experience + nice price & quick shipping
I have also used their website as a price reference on occasion.

I've bought three guns from Bud's and have no complaints whatsoever.
They're pretty bare bones on customer service - if you're looking for a shop to fix you milk and cookies at bedtime and sing you a soft lullaby as you drift off to dreamland, they ain't it.
But if you want excellent prices on a huge inventory delivered to your FFL's doorstep, they are one of the biggest players in the field.
