If anyone is looking for one of these. They just came in at Midsouth shooters.
I have had mine on order since March. They were saying it would be November....but got the email today they are here.

In the past I guess some people have waited nearly a year..

Have a good 'un, Guy

I would think that it can be used in any cartridge that can use a .224 cast bullet at cast bullet speeds.

I intend to use it in our 223 Savage model 10.

It doesn't really have much of a special shape, even though it looks that way...... It is "special" in that Lee only produces it for Midsouth shooters and they only seem to order a couple times a year. So, it can be a long wait for someone that wants one.

actually it is special ....it was designed to be closer to a bore riding projectile with a flat point to give better umm wullop factor  and it's also special because it's as guy said a limited run and lee doesnt catalog any rifle molds under 7 mm

thanks both of you for the reply.  this is certainly the place to find out nearly anything related to reloading and shooting in general.
