Hi folks,
There used to be a guy south of Lima, Ohio we used to get lead .45 bullets from. Alas, after a few years layoff from reloading, I no longer have his contact info. Anyone know of this guy or anyone in the vicinity that casts(and sells) lead bullets? Hate to pay the outrageous shipping prices............

Izzie,
When you find out, please let us all know who that caster is. There are several us forum members in Ohio, a few in central Ohio and Northern Ohio who could benefit from this person. I used to get my cast bullets from Dan Aumiller in Westerville when I used to live in central Ohio, I heard Dan is selling out and retiring.
Alas, I cast my own and seem to be the only person who casts for others in south eastern Ohio. Currently we are closed until my doctor says I can work with dangerous machinery again, which maybe another 3 to 4 weeks.

I can tell you here a guy that can really cast bullets
I must of went threw 5,000 rounds in my 1911 and not a he-cup in the gun.
