Would appreciate recipes for 9mm and 38 special using 125gr swc bullets.
Came across this site while Googleing for hard cast bullet reloading.

Welcome to the forum
As that Hard Cast could mean anything, I am not sure how hard.
For 9mm 125 grain CBs
Powder Start MAX
Bullseye 3.8 4.2
ww231 2.9 4.4
I found the 231 to do the best for me, I shoot a Hi Power, Sig 229, Star-Fire Star Plus
For 38 Spl
Powder Start Max
Bullseye 2.8 4.6
ww231 3.4 5.1
Unique 4.0 5.7
The Bullseye work best with this CB, but I still load mine with 231. I shoot a S&W 586 L Fram, S&W 340 PD, T/C Contender in 357 Mag - 8 inch barrel.
Hope this helps,
Jerry

Thanks for the info.
The bullets I am using have a hardness of 8 1/2Saeco (16-17 Brinell). I have AA #2 powder, Autocomp, and Universal, can't get any Unique. Thanks again for the info.
I'm glad I signed up !!

A neighbor of mine loads all of his 38 Spl and 9mm with BUllseye, he says it is cheaper and he gets good acuracy from Bullseye, where I like 231. So this is a matter of what you are looking for.
