Email me your snail mail address and I'll copy my winchester data and mail it to you, data on RXP & Win AA .Win 571 (HS 7)was another sky busting duck & goose load per my  waterfowl hunting buddies. One of my friends was using BD but switched over to HS6 as it's a very good powder that doesn't blow patterns.A friend and I used to go to a wholesale dealer in Los Angeles & buy a 12 pound keg about every 3 to 4 months as we were shooting trap all day saturday & sunday  &  adding wednesday nights for money & meat .

One of my retired le friends told me about an lapd shotgun shooter who loaded rice in his shells instead of lead it busted clays at 16 yards so he tried some red wheat and millet ,absolutely no recoil and it powdered the clay target at 16 yards. no pollution just bird feed.

I will have to try some rice then. Rice has little food value for bitds and it puffs up inside their little stomachs.

Correction he used red wheat kernals and millet he purchased at a local feed store both busted the clays w/o recoil.

Millet is little white balls which comes in bags of wild bird seed we spread for the calif valley quail but it attracts digger squirrels, jack rabbits, rats & mice ,crows and song birds.

During the 1980s, I loaded many shotshells-mainly RXPs for myself with a lesser quanity of mixed AAs or Federals for a hunting partner/fellow LEO.  I then found myself not firing a shotgun for almost two decades except during qualifications.  However, since retiring, I found my interest in shotguns had been rekindled and scrounging through my reloading supplies/equipment, I found approx 1000 once-fired RXP and an equal number of AA hulls along with substantial quantities of various RP and WW wads.  I have the 3rd and 4th Editions of Lyman's plus various Hodgdons and WW publications.  Unfortunately, Lyman's 4th Edition doesn't contain the data designated to the RXP as did the earlier ones.  Another retired LEO is 'THE' reloading packrat and has almost every reloading publication ever printed.  Whenever I desire additional information, I only have to visit his 'library'.
Included amongst the components I found were several unopened pounds of WW 452 and 473 powders which were used in the proper quantities for various target or hunting loadings; already purchased and MUCH less expensive than now!!

The Lyman 3rd edition has a great deal of information and I also have used the Rem Plastic Hunting Case data very succesfully in my reloading.

Hi Jerry,

Yeah, when I began loading shotshells, Lyman #3 was my main source of information but decades of non-use, getting moved around the house, getting married to a wife who didn't understand "all your junk" plus house remodeling-utter chaos-my copy became rather battle scarred and torn.  Thank goodness for my friend with the vast library.  That and the internet where so much info is at our fingertips.

You need to copy the pages that cover your reloading and start a note book of such things. This has worked for me over the past 30 to 40 years. It will be 40 years of my reloading with my stuff that started with a Lee Loader at Christmas of 1969.

I had used other peoples equipment before that wonderful Christmas. Then for my birth day, I got another Lee Loader.
The rest is history.

Jerry
