I have purchased a considerable amount of Lee equipment and all has been good until now. l received my new Lee 125 grain mold for my 357 mag revolver and that is where the wheel started to leave the rail..

The mold was backordered from Midway for several weeks and then when it arrived it case boolits at .364" and they were 131 grains.

I contacted Lee and they said send it back and it would be repaired or replaced. I did send it back immediately and then called after a a week.

I'm now being told they may get to it for repair in 2-3 weeks. I said I don't know how you would repair a mold that was too large and believed it would have to be replaced. I asked for someone to look into it. They said they would when they had time.

This is not what I expected from Lee. I guess they must be very busy and I will need to be patient.

Not too cool to wait 3 weeks from Midway to get it and then another 3 weeks to get it fixed/replaced. Very frustrating.

KY,

I know how you feel, but I seem to always find a use for molds that aren't right.

With the back orders at Lee starting to get into only being out to 12 months now, instead of 18 months, you should feel lucky that it's only going to be 2 to 3 weeks.

With Lee through Midway, I generally have them just ship me another from stock, while sending the orginal order back.

Jerry

at least it aint like the primers..the back orders there prolly equal 2 years or more ....while this is a booming and busy time for anything gun related it does bite from our perspective , hang in there amigo ! ( ie; i agree with what jerry said )

I've got the same mold, and it drops at .361 or so. I use uit for .38 S%W. Wouldn't mind one that was a bit larger, Wanna trade molds? I can send you some sample bullets from it so you can check it out.
