Recently while rummaging an old trunk of my fathers I found a Pistolet Automatique de 7 millimètre 65 genre! It's a 32ACP.

I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any experience with it??

I've never reloaded 32auto but I think this piece of WWI history needs some action. I going to order dies and a mold for it. Any suggestions especially for the mold would be welcome.

sounds like a french made thing ,not with ur particular gun but i've had/have a 32 or few ,the lil 60 grainers from speer are kinda wicked worked up to a warm load !!! umm if ur like me ? watch then fingertips ( mine seem to get pinched alla time when loading this one) for plinking i use the 71 gr, rp's with unique ,the 60's i use 700x,the hornady 60's arent bad either but that lil gold dot is kinda way wickeder, cant help ya on the cast but i am curious how that turns out !
the old lyman cast book shows two molds,77 grainer and a 84,not sure if any are in production or not , try lookin at midway and the reviews etc ,luck amigo !

Sounds like a lot of work and expense for pistol you probably wont shoot that much. Of course I guess you can use the little bullets in other applications.

One use might be a plinking bullet in your M1903, Krag or M1917.

Your right but my daughter carries a tomcat Beretta. So I want to get the dies anyway.

I cast 113g for my 03A3 plinking, but a 93g with Unique might be fun to!

As for the work.... well I'm old and single so casting and reloading are the thing that keep me outta trouble. javascript:emoticon('',%20'images/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif')

Do a chamber cast before getting too involved, there is also a  7.65 MAS, an auto pistol cartridge longer than the .32 ACP. According to my references, length is .776 vs .680

.32 ACP is easy to load for, Mrs. Charley shoots  few hundred  a year in her carry gun.

Funny you should mention this as I was just thinking the same thing! Actually I was going to slug it but some cerosafe would let me see the chamber as well. I remember my dad shot.32 ACP with it. But it obviously has a lot of mileage.

This will be another project for tomarrow.

Do you cast for the Mrs's .32?

Actually, I don't! Bought some cheapy JHP .32 bullets from Midway a few years back, still have a hundred or so. Think I bought 1000 to start with.
