My local shop got several cases of these in, selling em for the same price as other primers $33 so I bought a box. Anyone here have experience with these? As far as I understand it, I need to treat these as magnum primers for loading purposes.
Thanks.

only one box ? u finally seen cci's since ( umm when was the last time ? lolz) when ever and only got one box ? round here when they had them they was as high as the br's .... when they first started pushing them they were cheaper than plain ones ( my dealer told me generic packaging combined with a thicker cup ) for my semi auto's i love them( will he give ya a case discount ? lolz )but yes they basically are magnum primers just as the br' are ( tho those have strides to be more uniform )the 41's were designed to be less sensitive just as the wolf's for .223 are ,hope they start bein in stock around here soon ! good score amigo ( and news )and as with any change in component drop back a bit and work up especially if runnin at the top end

I know, I know... I don't even really need these but I had to buy a box, just because. Maybe it's a sign of brighter days ahead, they also had IMR 4895 in stock. This is the store that's still selling bags of shot for $30 and primers for a reasonable price, boy I hope this magic well doesn't dry up anytime soon...
These sound really interesting, think I'll try them in my next batch of 223. I did read from a google search that some people have a hard time seating them, hope I don't run into that.

i couldnt/cant fathom having anymore difficulty than normal primers ..unless.... they dint quite get the crimp out before ....i have > 300 left .... and while i have been playing with the wolf's....i'm just not in love with them yet ( and if i can get cci's soon i wont have any need too lolz )the last cci's i bought were large rifle $31 at that time and if they would of had them the 41's would of been 38-39( i'd of also had more than 300 left now too tho lolz )oh well i do have a load i like with rp 7 1/2's and those i bump into from time to time ,the way u say "still selling shot for ..." means u havent bought it all yet atm ...the best advice i have ...is worst comes to worse i can make shot(or slugs) ...primers is the weak link so far under the current administration

If it weren't for darn hazmat I'd send you some. Midway has an expected in stock date of today, maybe check there later on... As tempting as it is I haven't bought out their shot yet, but I bring a bag home with me each visit.
A few years ago before I got into firearms and reloading, I never would have imagined myself stockpiling lead!

ummm it always makes great fishing weights..or as my buddy said when i made some sinkers out of alloy one time to empty the pot "gee these weights stay shiny longer" umm gun broker is where i always go to drool over the cci boxes( i wonder if they'll ever figure out why they get no bidz on them ... lolz )between what i have loaded and the rp's i think i can make it for about a year ..and i still have most of a couple thou wolf's to play with after that , i'll just be extremely happy when components are back in stock in most places , i also admit to liking the looks of that barrel of reclaimed shot at roto-metals ...thaz boolit makin material for true ! 2900+ pounds of hi antinomy shot lolz but their reg shot is $45 a bag ( shipped)

I seated some of these tonight and they do offer a little more resistance than Federal. This is in virgin Hornady brass so no crimp. I think it's just because the cup is a tad harder so they don't "crush" in as easily.
They will be igniting some Varget behind 69gr SMKs so I'm expecting good things. We'll see....

Good score! I tried out my load with these primers last weekend, the results were very good. I will be sticking with these now for my AR until I run out, which hopefully won't be ever again. Things are looking much brighter these days on availability.
