I have two enfields. One is chambered in a 510 Wells and the other is chambered in a 450 Ackley. I'm finishing the stock work on the Wells and I've shot the Ackley. Neither of these rounds are for the light hearted, but are fun to watch some one else shoot. Lots of things move when you pull the trigger. People at the range gather around. I think to look for loose human fragments.
What chamberings do you other handloaders have or want to have?

A few years back I bought a second Enfield No.1 Mk.III, to use for a rebarrel project.  It was a very well-worn Indian Wire-wrap (grenade launcher) rifle with a noticible oval wear in the muzzle from the grenade rod I assume.

I made the mistake of cleaning it up and shooting it......  darned thing shoots tight!  So now I have stripped and 'restored' it back to a semblance of it's former glory as a battle rifle.

Still looking for a beater action to use for that long-postponed .32-20 rebarrel project.

They shoot don't they. Here are five at 100 yards and they don't really get hooting till 350 and laydown sweet at 500 yards.

MJ, this is fine shooting with that old battle rifle. What magnification is the scope? And what ammo/load were you using?
Thanks
