Nobody knows or perhaps nobody is saying much yet. So far, 7 dead and between 20 and 30 wounded or hurt. Wonder WTF happened? Was at a processing center doing prep work for deployment to Afghanistan, so they say.

Meant, of course, Holy Crap.

 Doesn't look good, three shooters, one wounded, on surrounded, and one at large. Raghead terrorists?

Charley,

It's too early to say, except that our prayers go out to the folks at Ft Hood and to the victims of the shootings.

Now they are saying it was a Major who did the initial shooting and he is or just has converted to Islam. The other two shooters have been captured.

The Major was shot dead.

One of the 12 killed was a police officer contracted by the army and there are 31 wounded.

Details are not being given out at this time.

So where was Homeland Insecurity thru all of this as well as Military Intelligence? (no MI jokes please)

Jerry

Latest I've heard si the Major's name was Hassan, or something phoneticly similar. The dead officer is supposed to be the one that killed the shooter.

The Major was a drug and alcohol shrink.

Our local rag says "a terrible tragedy" and it is .

but what the paper is not saying is this guy

"Nidal Malik Hasan" is a muslim terrorist ,

if you read his bio this guy was a bomb waiting to go off

I think we should concentrate on those who have given all because of this Major and those wounded to be treated as heros.

The flags of this country should be at half staff today and for 29 more days.

Thoughts and prayers to their families. Our church got a little group together last night for a prayer meeting for them.

If the report is true about a FEMALE base LEO shooting the laundry noggin I would drive to Texas today and kiss her right on the lips! Heard this morning that both Hass-hole and the female LEO are alive, he's comatose and she's doing good.

That's just poetic...a muslim taken out by his "faith's" lowest life form, a woman.

What is truly sad about the whole thing is that he wasn't ever intending to serve his country. He went into the service solely for the education at someone else's cost, OURS. When he found he was going to be deployed, he went over the edge. IIRC, psychiatrists and psychologists have to go thru analysis themselves, and if he did, the analyst missed something.

What a tool.  What is with people these days?  If he didn't want to go to sandland, he could just resign his commision.  Claim to be a "Consciencious Objector".  Go "Section Eight" peacefully and get drummed out.

ANYTHING but cold-bloodedly MURDER fellow troops.  This barstage now faces the Death Penalty, once he goes to military court.  Hope they hang him high!

The soldiers of the Queen had it right. To bad we don't (and they don't either, now...)

"What are the bugles blowin' for?" said Files-on-Parade.
"To turn you out, to turn you out", the Colour-Sergeant said.
"What makes you look so white, so white?" said Files-on-Parade.
"I'm dreadin' what I've got to watch", the Colour-Sergeant said.
For they're hangin' Danny Deever, you can hear the Dead March play,
The regiment's in 'ollow square -- they're hangin' him to-day;
They've taken of his buttons off an' cut his stripes away,
An' they're hangin' Danny Deever in the mornin'.

"What makes the rear-rank breathe so 'ard?" said Files-on-Parade.
"It's bitter cold, it's bitter cold", the Colour-Sergeant said.
"What makes that front-rank man fall down?" said Files-on-Parade.
"A touch o' sun, a touch o' sun", the Colour-Sergeant said.
They are hangin' Danny Deever, they are marchin' of 'im round,
They 'ave 'alted Danny Deever by 'is coffin on the ground;
An' 'e'll swing in 'arf a minute for a sneakin' shootin' hound --
O they're hangin' Danny Deever in the mornin'!

"'Is cot was right-'and cot to mine", said Files-on-Parade.
"'E's sleepin' out an' far to-night", the Colour-Sergeant said.
"I've drunk 'is beer a score o' times", said Files-on-Parade.
"'E's drinkin' bitter beer alone", the Colour-Sergeant said.
They are hangin' Danny Deever, you must mark 'im to 'is place,
For 'e shot a comrade sleepin' -- you must look 'im in the face;
Nine 'undred of 'is county an' the regiment's disgrace,
While they're hangin' Danny Deever in the mornin'.

"What's that so black agin' the sun?" said Files-on-Parade.
"It's Danny fightin' 'ard for life", the Colour-Sergeant said.
"What's that that whimpers over'ead?" said Files-on-Parade.
"It's Danny's soul that's passin' now", the Colour-Sergeant said.
For they're done with Danny Deever, you can 'ear the quickstep play,
The regiment's in column, an' they're marchin' us away;
Ho! the young recruits are shakin', an' they'll want their beer to-day,
After hangin' Danny Deever in the mornin'.

The death toll is now 13 dead, 28 wounded, Hassan is alive and on a resperator. The female contract officer is alive and doing better. Ft. Hood is now open and on high alert for further incidents.

Today there was ashooting in Orlando, Fl. 1 dead and a few wounded. The shooter was caught. These incidents may give cause for the anti-gun weenies to get their ban's passed now. All hell will break loose.

Remember; Guns don't kill people, People kill people!

Heard today that his hitting her in the leg must have ticked her off (my conjecture there) because after she was down, she pumped 4 in him, ending the shooting and, (if reports are true), paralyzing him.

Good shootin' lass, well done from up North of ya, sorry she got hit, but well sucked up and carried on.
